Rangers continue to be linked with new signings and allegedly scouted Heart of Midlothian striker Lawrence Shankland on Saturday afternoon.

Mohamed Diomande, a playmaker from Nordsjaelland, completed his transfer to Ibrox on Friday, giving Rangers another new face.

Another one featuring a Brazilian left back might follow soon. Even though Jefte is currently on loan at APOEL Nicosia in Cyprus, he is scheduled to arrive from Fluminense.

With Jose Cifuentes perhaps heading to Turkish team Caykur Rizespor and uncertainties lingering surrounding Ridvan Yilmaz’s future, these final few days of the window might be eventful.

The name of Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland is one that Rangers may even try to add more new faces to the team.

Rangers and Hearts striker Shankland are still being connected, but if a deal happens soon, time is running out.

Early in the transfer window, Sky Sports reported that Rangers were interested in signing Shankland and that a deal might be reached.

Shankland is reportedly being sought by Hearts for about £3 million, so Rangers could have to clear some space before making a move.
