Marcus Rashford is ready and accessible to play for Manchester United in their match against Wolves.

Marcus Rashford will be eligible for Manchester United’s upcoming Premier League match against Wolves on Thursday following discussions with manager Erik ten Hag to address recent issues. Ten Hag, along with football director John Murtough and Rashford’s brother and agent, Dwaine, met with the player after Rashford was seen at a Belfast nightclub. During the meeting at Carrington on Monday, Rashford clarified the circumstances of his visit. The club issued a statement confirming Rashford’s acknowledgment of his actions, stating that the matter has been internally addressed and closed.

Initially, it was believed Rashford visited Belfast on Wednesday night before a scheduled day off on Thursday. However, reports suggested he was there on Thursday night and subsequently claimed illness, missing training on Friday and Saturday, as well as being absent from the squad for the FA Cup match against Newport County on Sunday. Nevertheless, Rashford trained at Carrington on Sunday.

This isn’t the first time Rashford has faced issues with Ten Hag, as he previously attended a Manchester nightclub after a defeat to Manchester City in October, for which he apologized. He was also dropped from a game against Wolves last season due to lateness for a team meeting.

Rashford’s performance this season has been inconsistent, with only four goals in 26 appearances. He was benched for matches against Chelsea and Bournemouth in December following a poor display against Newcastle United. A source has confirmed that Rashford trained as usual on Monday and will be an option for United’s game against Wolves on Thursday at Molineux.
