A new Rangers signing is living his childhood dream as he shared an old photo of himself wearing the club colours.
Ivorian midfielder Mohamed Diomandé, a £4.5 million transfer from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland, was recently acquired by the Ibrox team.
Furthermore, the 22-year-old demonstrated that he was a fan of the team long before he signed, giving the impression that the agreement was predetermined.
Diomande revealed an old picture of himself as a small child wearing a Rangers shirt in a video that the team posted on Instagram.
The video was posted by the club to the tune of Giulio Cercato’s Take Me Home.
Passionate supporters promptly took to the comments section, concurring that Diomande’s signing was’meant to be’.
Rangers manager Philippe Clement previously stated of Diomandé’s arrival: “I am really pleased to have been able to add Mohamed to our squad, and I am excited to see what he can bring to our team.”
“Based on our discussions and what I’ve observed of him as a player, I think he’ll be a great asset to us for the duration of this season and for years to come.”
