According to journalist Alex Crook of talkSPORT, Celtic are considering bids for James Forrest, who has been with the team the longest.

The guy who has played the longest for the Hoops may be leaving the team months after giving an emotional testimonial against Athletic Bilbao.

With the return of his coach Brendan Rodgers, the 32-year-old has struggled to get consistent playing time. Only eighteen games hath he appeared in, most of them as cameos. According to Crook, Celtic are now “open to offers” for the Scotland international.

With just 18 months remaining on his Glasgow contract, Forrest may be leaving. Even though he has 22 major championships with Celtic, there are now rumors that he might be leaving.

The Scotland winger, who came through the Celtic system and spent 15 seasons playing for the senior team, has only ever played for one club. He has scored goals in each of those seasons.

Forrest might, however, be about to make the first transfer of his career—to a different club—after spending 15 years with the team.

During his tenure with the Scottish Champions, the Scotland international made 483 appearances for the Hoops, contributing 101 assists and 104 goals.

Another update is that David Turnbull, a midfielder for Celtic, is getting close to joining Cardiff City after passing a medical exam in advance of a £2 million transfer, according to Daily Record.

The 24-year-old has made 19 appearances for Celtic in all competitions and scored 7 goals.

Although a number of teams have expressed interest in the player, it looks as though Cardiff will be the ones to sign the Scotland international, who is valued at £2 million, on transfer deadline day.

Despite the Scotland international’s summer contract expiring at Celtic, Cardiff is eager to finalize the agreement before the 11 p.m. deadline.

No club has yet to make an offer for Forrest, who would likely find it difficult to leave Celtic Park.
