According to Kris Boyd, Brendan Rodgers put on an act yesterday, and he doesn’t buy it.
Following criticism from supporters and other observers, the Celtics manager gave the impression that he was at ease with the work his team completed during the January transfer window.
The manager had stated that he was hoping to bolster his team with a few players of established caliber, but many contend that hasn’t happened with the addition of Adam Idah and Nicolas Kuhn, two talented individuals.
Although Rodgers defended the recruiting team, he acknowledged that the team could have pursued candidates with “braver” abandon.
He also said he was comfortable with working with the squad he’s ended up with at the end of the window, but many are not taking him at his word and Boyd is one of them.
