Despite suffering a facial injury during the match against Livingston, Leon Balogun remains determined to continue playing for Rangers, according to Ibrox manager Philippe Clement.

Balogun, described as a “warrior” by Clement, was substituted in the first half after colliding with Livingston’s Shaun Donnellan.

This leaves Rangers potentially with only two senior centre-back options, as Ben Davies is also currently sidelined. While acknowledging that Balogun likely broke something in his face, Clement expressed optimism, stating that the experienced player is expected to return wearing a protective mask as soon as the medical team approves.

Clement emphasized Balogun’s resilience and past experience in recovering from similar setbacks, leaving the final decision to the medical staff.
