Ange Postecogolou, the former Celtic manager, has had a terrific start to life at Tottenham and has already achieved a number of impressive feats in the first half of the season.
Postecoglou has received recognition for his offensive, front-foot style of play, which helped him become popular at Parkhead where he won two Scottish League Cups, one Scottish Cup, and two Premiership crowns.
But he has won over supporters over the years not only with his carefree football style but also for his candor in interviews and his ability to relate to the supporters of his teams.
Postecoglou’s recent appearance on TNT Sport’s brand-new fan interview series “Connected” served as an example of this. Nine-year-old Freddie, a Tottenham supporter who was just diagnosed with cancer, joins the Tottenham manager throughout the performance.
Prior to the interview, Freddie’s parents disclose that since receiving his diagnosis, football has been a major source of solace for him.
Freddie grills Ange about the best part of his job as Tottenham manager during the conversation. In response, the former head of hoops said, “Meeting people like you is the coolest thing for me.” I get to meet people who love this football club for no other reason than it was passed down to them by their family.
