After reaching a deal with Tottenham Hotspur, Rodon moved to Elland Road in the summer and established himself as a vital member of Daniel Farke’s team.

Since making his debut in the team, the Wales international has been a constant, which has raised rumors that he would sign a contract to join the Yorkshire team permanently in the summer.

Rodon has been a member of the Spurs since the beginning of the season, but since returning to the Championship, he has been even more effective.

Even though his future is still unknown, it is certain that his performances this year have made him a fan favorite among Leeds fans.

Deeney has given Rodon credit for his growth while working with Farke this year.

When the former striker faced Rodon, he said he thought the center-back was impressionable and immature, but today he sees a more dominant defense when Leeds plays.

Deeney stated on Sky Sports, via Leeds United News, “I feel like he has grown up and what I mean by that is, I think he has physically come into himself – bigger, stronger.”

“I used to beat up center halves a lot, so when I played against him, he was a little younger and less experienced.

“He’s been incredibly accurate and skillful.
