The men’s basketball team from North Carolina defeated Duke on Saturday in the Dean E. Smith Center, marking the program’s first home victory since 2021. Additionally, both teams were rated in the top 10 for the first time since 2019 during the rivalry game.
The biggest gathering downtown since UNC’s victory in the 2022 Final Four, an estimated 20,000 supporters and students flocked to Franklin Street to celebrate the victory.

On Monday, you may pick up a paper in the Pit on campus. The special editions will be distributed by DTH employees from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
apiece participant receives a complimentary copy of the book; extra copies cost $1 apiece. Both cash and Venmo payments are accepted.
