Jaylen Wright will continue to sprint into the next phase of his football career after breaking into the record books as Tennessee’s 19th 1,000-yard rusher. The running back, who finished first in the Vols’ rushing department as a sophomore in 2022 and then had an All-SEC performance this season, revealed on social media on Friday morning that he will skip his last season of eligibility and join the 2024 NFL Draft. Wright will also skip Tennessee’s bowl game and choose to skip Iowa’s Cheez-It Citrus Bowl game on New Year’s Day in order to focus on getting ready for the pre-draft process.
