According to reports, Leeds United wants to sign Jamie Shackleton to a long-term contract extension because his current one expires in the summer.
In the upcoming weeks and months, the Whites will have to make a number of contract decisions, and Daniel Farke is already organizing his team’s long-term destiny.

Some, including Lewis Bate, Ian Poveda, Luke Ayling, Robin Koch, and others, have already been confirmed as leaving, with loan agreements in place till the end of the current campaign.

Football Insider claims that Leeds want to sign midfielder Jamie Shackleton to a new deal following a reaching agreement with Willy Gnonto.

After being loaned out to Millwall last season, it seemed as though the 24-year-old’s time at Elland Road was running out, but he managed to find his way back into Farke’s plans.

His adaptability has been of great assistance to Farke, particularly in the early months of his appointment when his team was devoid of players who could play numerous roles.

As previously said, Shackleton was mostly involved in the first few games of the season until a significant investment became apparent in August.
