Tonight, Celtic will visit Hibernian with the intention of regaining some momentum in their quest for the Scottish Premiership championship.

Brendan Rodgers is aware that his team has to improve on their uncharacteristically poor performances in their recent matches against Aberdeen and Ross County. But in his two stints as the Bhoys’ manager, he has failed to win at Easter Road, adding a little more drama to the match even before the ball is played.

Due to a calf strain, Greg Taylor will miss tonight’s game; however, he could play for the first team on Sunday in the Scottish Cup against St Mirren.

Top-quality opposition': Hibernian boss Nick Montgomery not expecting easy ride against Celtic

Reo Hatate and Cameron Carter-Vickers will be out for a few weeks, but Daizen Maeda is accessible and ready,  per Rodgers’ press conference yesterday

Although the Daily Record notes that Tomoki Iwata was not fit to be included in the matchday squad the previous time, he is included this time.

The hosts enter this game having lost their past six league games; however, they did manage to draw 0-0 when the teams last faced off in late October at Leith.
