Jason Kelce describes the steadfast approach behind his Pro Bowl performance that gained widespread attention.

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce possesses a relaxed and personable demeanor that may not immediately reflect the toughness required for his job.

Despite this, Kelce, who is 36 years old, continues to willingly fulfill his role as the primary force behind the Eagles’ powerful quarterback sneak.

During a recent Pro Bowl snapping competition, Kelce showcased his determination by persistently aiming for the challenging five-point target, eventually hitting it after several attempts, much to the delight of spectators.

Reflecting on his performance on the New Heights podcast, co-hosted with his brother Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, Jason admitted to struggling initially despite excelling in warm-ups. Seeking advice from Andrew DePaola, the Minnesota Vikings’ long snapper representing the NFC, Kelce decided to aim for the difficult target.

Despite the challenges and the amusement of onlookers, including his brother Travis, Kelce persisted until he succeeded, albeit not without consequences—the breaking of a camera, which he later signed at the crew’s request.
