The arrangement involves a loan until the season’s end with an option to purchase, and Cruzeiro’s manager, Larcamon, has discussed the likelihood of securing Cifuentes permanently with the media. According to freelance journalist Mark Walker’s report in the Daily Record, Larcamon stated, “The deal is finalized. We have the option to buy Jose Cifuentes at the conclusion of his loan, and I am confident that will occur. He is an extremely versatile player and will greatly benefit the team.”
