The Eagles have formally employed Kellen Moore from Prosser, while a graduate of Richland bids farewell to the Seahawks.
Prosser High graduate Kellen Moore has been officially named the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, marking his third NFL team in as many years. Previously, Moore served as the OC for the Dallas Cowboys in 2022 and the Los Angeles Chargers in 2023. His move to the Eagles comes after the firing of Chargers’ head coach Brandon Staley, leading to Moore seeking a new position.
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni expressed excitement about Moore’s hiring, praising his intelligence and play-calling abilities. Moore’s younger brother, Kirby Moore, extended his contract as the offensive coordinator for the Missouri Tigers.
On a different note, Richland High graduate Greg Olson, who served as the quarterbacks coach for the Seattle Seahawks, is now seeking a new job due to Pete Carroll’s departure as head coach. Despite Olson’s extensive experience, he was not chosen as the offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears.
Former Tri-Cities Fever head coach Pat O’Hara will not be returning to the Tennessee Titans, where he worked as the quarterbacks coach and pass game analyst for the past six years. Another ex-Fever head coach, Adam Shackleford, has taken on the assistant head coaching role for the Nashville Kats in the Arena Football League.
Chiawana High graduate AJ Vongphachanh completed his college football eligibility with BYU, ranking as the second-highest tackler for the Cougars in his final season. He is now listed as the 247th prospect in the Top 250 NFL Draft Prospects by CBS Sports, indicating a potential future in professional football.
