Travis Kelce delivered a deeply moving speech that reportedly brought the Chiefs to tears.

Pro Football Focus unveiled a compilation of the top three players for each of the 32 teams ahead of the 2023 season. Given the abundance of talent on the 49ers’ roster, singling out three standout players presented a formidable challenge.

Nevertheless, PFF rose to the occasion. Here are the players they selected:

1. Trent Williams

Williams undeniably secures his spot on this list. Widely regarded not only as the premier player on the 49ers’ roster but also as one of the all-time greats at the left tackle position, Williams continues to excel even in his 13th NFL season. PFF consistently rates him as the highest-graded player, regardless of position, over the past three seasons.

2. Nick Bosa

As the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Bosa’s inclusion is a given. Since his entry into the league in 2019, the 49ers have maintained a top-five defense each season, largely attributable to Bosa’s prowess as a dynamic and complete pass rusher. With a remarkable 18.5 sacks in the previous season, speculation arises whether he might join the elite 20-sack club in 2023, a testament to his continuous improvement.

3. Fred Warner

Selecting the third player proved to be an arduous task due to the abundance of worthy candidates. Deebo Samuel stands out as a unique offensive threat, while George Kittle’s career trajectory positions him among the greatest tight ends in history. Additionally, Christian McCaffrey’s versatility significantly bolstered the 49ers’ offense upon his arrival. However, PFF’s choice of Warner is apt.

Warner possesses unparalleled versatility, excelling in both coverage and traditional linebacker duties near the line of scrimmage. His adaptability to the evolving demands of the game makes him a rare gem, epitomizing the modern linebacker. Warner’s impact extends beyond individual performance; he serves as the linchpin of the league’s premier defense for nearly half a decade.

In agreement with PFF’s assessment, Williams, Bosa, and Warner undoubtedly occupy a league of their own.
