A former standout player from Tennessee’s baseball team is eagerly anticipating positive updates expected on Tuesday.

Former standout Tennessee Vols baseball player Todd Helton is eagerly anticipating positive news this Tuesday evening. With a career spanning 17 years in Major League Baseball, Helton is currently on track for induction into the Hall of Fame. The announcement for this year’s Hall of Fame class will be made at 6:00 PM ET on Tuesday evening. Helton, who dedicated his entire career to the Colorado Rockies, concluded his remarkable journey with a batting average of .316, 369 home runs, and 2,519 hits. His achievements include five All-Star appearances, three Gold Glove awards for his exceptional first base play, and four consecutive Silver Slugger awards from 2000 to 2003. Notably, Helton also excelled in football during his time at Tennessee, where he notably surpassed Peyton Manning on the UT depth chart in 1994.
