Seems like the San Jose Sharks’ offense is still struggling.

After a two-week hiatus since their last game on January 31st, the Sharks were shut out for the eighth time this season, falling 1-0 to the Winnipeg Jets at Canada Life Center.

San Jose Sharks head coach David Quinn remarked, “It seemed like we were attempting to execute the right plays, but our timing was off. Kaapo [Kahkonen] played well, but we lacked efficiency with the puck.”

Indeed, Kahkonen’s solid performance kept the game tight, as he made 38 saves. Conversely, the Sharks managed only 17 shots against the exceptional goaltending of Connor Hellebuyck.

These shots weren’t easy for Kahkonen either – according to SPORTLOGiQ, the Jets had 20 high-danger chances in all situations, whereas the Sharks only mustered six.
