Despite not being the favored contender against defending champion Mac McClung, Jacob Toppin, and Jamie Jacquez Jr., Brown, a three-time All-Star, enters the contest with a strong reputation.
Throughout this season, Brown has showcased his athleticism by posterizing notable defenders like Rudy Gobert and Clint Capela. In contrast, his competitors McClung and Toppin are G-League players, and Jacquez Jr. is a rookie.
