According to Football Insider, the prominent teams in the Premier League were interested in signing the player during the January transfer window and they continue to have a strong desire to pursue him at the conclusion of the season.

Despite being only 17 years old, the player has become a key member of Leeds’ first team. Whether Leeds, who currently compete in the Championship, are willing to authorize his departure remains uncertain.

The midfielder is contracted to Leeds United until 2028, so the club is not under immediate pressure to sell him. However, if Leeds fail to achieve promotion to the Premier League by the end of the season, Gray might be enticed to join a larger club.

He aspires to compete at the highest level and further his development by gaining significant first-team experience. Liverpool could be an appealing destination for him if they can guarantee him playing time. Liverpool, being one of the premier clubs in the country, have a proven track record of nurturing young talents into established players.

It’s probable that Liverpool won’t be the sole club interested in acquiring Archie Gray, and Leeds may need to rebuff offers from multiple clubs in the upcoming summer transfer window. Leeds is eager to return to the Premier League to retain their top talents.

Gray has the versatility to play as both a central midfielder and a full-back, and with the right guidance, he possesses the attributes to develop into a valuable midfielder in the Premier League.
