Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson lists his house for sale, further diminishing chances of his return.

The Denver Broncos have yet to part ways with quarterback Russell Wilson, but indications suggest it’s inevitable. According to a report by Thomas Gounley of The Denver Post, Wilson and his wife Ciara are currently entertaining offers for their mansion in Cherry Hills Village, situated in the Denver metropolitan area. The couple acquired the expansive 20,000-square-foot residence for $25 million back in 2022, shortly after Wilson was traded to the Broncos from the Seattle Seahawks. The lavish property boasts five acres, four bedrooms, and a staggering 12 bathrooms.

Putting his home on the market suggests that Wilson’s departure from Denver is imminent. If the 35-year-old remains on the roster past the fifth day of the league year in March, his 2025 salary of $37 million becomes fully guaranteed.

Wilson’s performance in the recently concluded season showed improvement following a disappointing 2022 campaign. Over 15 games, the seasoned quarterback completed 66.4% of his passes for 3,070 yards, 26 touchdowns, eight interceptions, and earned an above-average passer rating of 98. However, he failed to find synergy with head coach Sean Payton, who benched him in favor of Jarrett Stidham for the final two games of the season. Despite Wilson’s efforts, the Broncos finished with an 8-9 record, extending their playoff drought to eight consecutive seasons.

In the event that Wilson becomes a free agent, he is anticipated to draw interest from various teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers. Notably, DraftKings highlighted on Friday that the Steelers are favored to secure his services, with odds dropping from +1400 to -110.
