Celtic supporters are likely growing weary of the ongoing discussions regarding their allocation for the Glasgow Derby matches at Ibrox, following years of negotiations between the two clubs.

Since Rangers reduced Celtic’s allocation from 8000 to 600 in May 2018, various factors have fueled what has become a tiresome debate. While the official explanation was to accommodate more home supporters, many believe that Odsonne Edouard’s decisive goal in Celtic’s 3-2 victory in 2018 also played a significant role.

Six years later, no away fans have been present at any match this season, leaving uncertainty about future agreements regarding visitor numbers.

Earlier reports this year suggested ongoing negotiations for a potential allocation increase for the final two league fixtures of the season. However, there has been no official communication since then.

In this seemingly endless saga, one hopes that some agreement will be reached before Celtic’s visit to Ibrox on April 7th.
