Lately, Nottingham Forest has gained recognition for their frenzied activity during transfer windows, characterized by a scattergun approach that has yielded mixed results at best.

Following their promotion back to the Premier League in May 2022, the club has brought in 34 new players, with owner Evangelos Marinakis investing over £200m to bolster Forest’s competitiveness in the top English league.
