Gary Lineker expresses the sentiment shared by many regarding Nottingham Forest, highlighting the impressive form of the Reds’ duo who are performing exceptionally well.
Gary Lineker hailed Nottingham Forest’s triumph over West Ham as “exceptional” and “crucially significant,” while Match of the Day pundit Shay Given singled out two players from the Reds for their stellar performance.
Nuno’s Forest secured an impressive 2-0 victory against West Ham in the Premier League at the City Ground, courtesy of goals from Taiwo Awoniyi and Callum Hudson-Odoi. Given particularly commended the displays of Hudson-Odoi and defender Nuno Tavares as he analyzed the game.
“I think they were very potent down the left side, Tavares and Hudson-Odoi were in top form,” Given remarked. “They had an outstanding game. I believe it was Coufal and Bowen, and they struggled to cope with these two players.
“Extremely quick down the left flank. Tavares demonstrates a strong attacking presence as a full-back, and he has formed a promising partnership with Hudson-Odoi, appearing to relish his time on the pitch.
“He seems to have regained his form to the level that Chelsea supporters expect from him.”
