According to a report from TEAMtalk, Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton Wanderers, and Peterborough United are all contemplating potential signings of Ravel Morrison.

Last season, Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton Wanderers, and Peterborough United were all vying for promotion from League One. However, it was only Sheffield Wednesday who emerged victorious in the end, while Bolton Wanderers and Peterborough United find themselves engaged in another battle in the current campaign.

Despite the closure of the transfer window, EFL clubs still have the opportunity to make new signings from the free agent market. It has been reported that Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton Wanderers, and Peterborough United are all showing interest in Ravel Morrison, who recently departed MLS club D.C. United. Morrison’s career ups and downs have been widely documented, and after his spell in the United States, a return to England could be on the cards.

During his last spell in England, Morrison, an attacking midfielder, recorded five goals and four assists in 38 appearances for Derby County.

As for the possibility of Morrison making an EFL comeback, only time will tell if he will join any of the aforementioned clubs. However, it appears unlikely that he will sign with Peterborough United, as they are primarily focused on recruiting young players with potential for increased value. Given Morrison’s likely high wages, it would be surprising to see them invest in him, even on a short-term deal as a free agent.
