Kelly Olynyk bids a gracious farewell to the Jazz following his trade to the Raptors
The NBA trade deadline saw significant activity, with the Toronto Raptors emerging as one of the most active teams. Beginning the trade season with the OG Anunoby deal in late December, they engaged in multiple trades, including one with the Utah Jazz. In this exchange, the Jazz acquired Kira Lewis Jr. and Otto Porter from the Raptors, sending Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji in return. Despite Olynyk’s departure to his native country’s team, the Raptors, he conveyed a heartfelt farewell message to the Jazz organization on Tuesday.During his tenure with the Jazz lasting one and a half seasons, Kelly Olynyk joined the team through a trade with the Detroit Pistons prior to the 2022-23 season. Throughout his time with the Jazz, Olynyk posted averages of 10.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game, while shooting 51.9% from the field, 40.3% from three-point range, and 77.5% from the free-throw line.
