Portsmouth defender makes a comeback to spectate Reading FC following a period of injury.
Portsmouth defender Tom McIntyre was seen alongside his former Reading teammates during Saturday’s match, where the Royals secured a 2-0 victory against Charlton Athletic.
Having grown up as a season ticket holder at the SCL Stadium, the 25-year-old spent nearly two decades in the club’s academy before accumulating over a hundred first-team appearances.
However, less than two weeks ago, McIntyre finalized a transfer to League One leaders Portsmouth. Despite making his debut for Pompey, the Scotland youth international faced a setback when he was unfairly sent off after 52 minutes. Subsequently, it was revealed that McIntyre had fractured his ankle, forcing him to miss the remainder of the season.
