Wolverine Confidential reports on further coaching changes, NIL developments, and transfer updates in Michigan football.

The restructuring of Sherrone Moore’s coaching staff at Michigan is ongoing.

Initially set to hire Stephen Adegoke from the Texans as the secondaries coach, the Wolverines faced a change of plans when he opted to remain with Houston. Sherrone Moore redirected his focus to Louisiana defensive coordinator LaMar Morgan, whom he is expected to bring on board. Additionally, Michigan is anticipated to reappoint Brian Jean-Mary as the linebackers coach.

In the recent episode of the “Wolverine Confidential” podcast, MLive’s Ryan Zuke and Aaron McMann delve into these coaching changes and speculate on what may transpire before the commencement of spring practice.

The podcast also covers the news of safety Keon Sabb finding a new home in the SEC, along with 18 Wolverines receiving invitations to the NFL Scouting Combine. Michigan is further enhancing its NIL efforts by filling two key positions.

Lastly, both Michigan men’s and women’s basketball teams suffered losses to Michigan State last weekend, completing a season series sweep by their rivals. The dynamics in the rivalry are shifting across multiple sports.
