Jojo Wollacott ready for Hibs chance as David Marshall doubt for Dundee clash

Jojo Wollacott insists he’s ready to replace David Marshall between the sticks at Hibs.

The Ghana keeper replaced veteran Marshall in last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Aberdeen at Pittodrie after the ex-Scotland No1 was forced off with a hamstring injury.

Jojo Wollacott could start against Dundee

It’s unclear whether the 38-year-old will be fit for Saturday’s clash with top-six rivals Dundee at Easter Road but Wollacott says he won’t let the club down if he’s handed his second Premiership start of the season.

The ex-Charlton shotstopper said: “I’m ready. Every player has to be ready. You can’t come on and have it be a shock to your system. I’m definitely ready when the team need my services and I’ll give my best whenever I play.
