Four-star linebacker Jaedon Harmon discusses his experience as the initial recruit to receive an offer from Oklahoma’s defensive coordinator, Zac Alley, and shares his impressions of the Sooners.
Over the weekend, one of the premier camp circuits in the nation visited a state known for its abundance of talent. The UC Report’s Atlanta camp showcased some of the country’s top prospects across various classifications, including four-star linebacker Jaedon Harmon.
Currently positioned as the 214th overall prospect in the Top247 for the 2025 cycle, Harmon ranks among the top 25 linebackers nationally and within the top 30 players in Georgia. With an impressive tally of 32 offers to his credit and more potentially on the horizon, the standout defender from Rome High School has found himself thrust into the limelight of recruitment.
“The recruiting process has been exciting, but it’s starting to get a bit hectic,” Harmon remarked. “Activity is picking up, but I’m aiming to narrow things down to a top-eight or top-10 list sometime next month.”
“It’s all sinking in now,” Harmon added. “And I’m genuinely thrilled about it because I’ve put in a lot of hard work.”
Among the schools vying for his attention is Oklahoma, which recently entered the fray and is swiftly establishing itself as a formidable contender.
