Isaiah Thomas is confident that he could be the key to pushing the Celtics towards a championship.

With a commanding record of 44-12, the Boston Celtics lead the NBA with aspirations of claiming their 18th championship banner.

A former Celtics guard recently sparked a frenzy on social media with a straightforward post advocating for his signing to Boston’s 15th roster spot. “My leadership alone would put this team over the hump!” Thomas shared on X, formerly Twitter. “I don’t even have to play a single minute. Just give me a jersey LOL.”

Thomas last played for the Celtics in 2017 and last appeared in the NBA in 2022, dividing his time among the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, and Charlotte Hornets.

Thomas remains a revered figure in Boston, earning the moniker “The King of the Fourth” for his clutch performances during the final quarter of games.
