Kenny Dalglish supports Rangers for the title and advises Celtic to improve their performance.

Kenny Dalglish asserts that Celtic must find their rhythm as he favors Rangers to clinch the title. The football icon, impressed by Philippe Clement’s recent work at Ibrox, considers the Light Blues as front-runners for the Premiership, acknowledging only one defeat under Clement against Brendan Rodgers’ team. Despite this, Dalglish refrains from completely discounting Celtic.

In an episode of the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, Dalglish remarked, “Celtic have been facing challenges. Their elimination from the League Cup by Kilmarnock, a league loss to the same team, and a home defeat to Hearts, whom Rangers recently defeated 5-0. Celtic really need to find their groove.”

He emphasizes that writing off Celtic is never wise. However, Dalglish commends Philippe Clement for his excellent management at Rangers, including some impactful signings since taking charge. Rangers’ continued presence in the last 16 in European competition further adds to their impressive record under Clement. Dalglish notes that, under Clement, the only defeat Rangers have suffered was against Celtic, a closely contested match.
