Kamal Hadden discusses his development and progress with the Tennessee team.
In the previous season, Kamal Hadden, the corner for the Tennessee Volunteers, experienced the most successful period of his career. Rebounding from a challenging 2022 season, he emerged as the Vols’ top cover corner in 2023. Hadden recorded impressive stats, including 19 tackles, seven pass deflections, and three interceptions in seven games, although his season was cut short by a injury against Alabama.
He is the initial member of a trio representing the University of Tennessee at this year’s NFL Combine. Scheduled to compete with other corners later in the day, Hadden took a moment before this pivotal juncture in his career to reflect on the lessons he gained during his tenure as a Volunteer.
“Tennessee played a significant role in preparing me for the league, supporting my growth both as a man and a player. Their tremendous assistance provided me with the opportunity to not only showcase my skills as a player but also as a person.” – Kamal Hadden shared with reporters at the 2024 NFL Combine
Hadden affirmed his intention to partake in on-field drills on Friday afternoon while opting out of athletic testing. He plans to engage in the complete array of pre-draft activities at Tennessee’s Pro Day scheduled for March 27.
