Farke asserts that the forward has already decided to depart from Leeds United.
A surge towards the upper echelons of the Championship table has placed them currently in second position, now trailing Leicester City by just six points, a significant reduction from their previous double-digit deficit behind their rivals.
One individual who has not contributed to the successes of the Elland Road team, but whom Farke holds in high regard, is Luis Sinisterra.
Luis Sinisterra is set to make a permanent move to Bournemouth. Despite spending the season on loan at Bournemouth, the 24-year-old has only featured for 90 minutes on three occasions for the Cherries (according to WhoScored).
Although he may not have left a significant impression, he expresses his desire to continue his stay on the south coast.
According to Phil Hay, The Athletic’s correspondent for Leeds, who shared on X (formerly Twitter), Farke’s recent comments have sealed Sinisterra’s fate.
Farke is quoted as saying, “Overall it’s a good decision and beneficial for our future. I never made a secret that I really rate Luis from a football point of view. We wish him all the best. He also made it clear in the summer that he wanted to have this move.”
If Leeds can maintain their current level of performance, there is a possibility of reuniting with their soon-to-be former player next season.
Despite a shaky start under Andoni Iraola, Bournemouth has begun to stabilize. Although their recent form has faltered, leaving them in the bottom half of the Premier League, they are eight points clear of the relegation zone and should secure another season in the English top-flight.
