Coventry City manager Mark Robins vows to pursue a play-off spot as the harsh reality of the situation becomes apparent.

Mark Robins is resolute in his determination to prevent Coventry City’s season from losing momentum after suffering consecutive defeats in the Championship.

The Sky Blues faced defeats against fellow play-off contenders in consecutive Friday night matches, first succumbing to a 3-0 loss against Preston North End followed by a 2-1 defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion. With City trailing four points behind sixth-placed Hull before today’s league fixtures, there is a risk of falling further behind in the play-off race with only 11 games remaining.

Friday’s loss at the Hawthorns marked Robins’ 750th game in management. When questioned about whether, despite the disappointment of the recent results, he finds solace in the broader perspective of his achievements at Coventry thus far and the promising future ahead, Robins emphasized the need to strive for more. He stressed the importance of ensuring that the current season maintains its momentum and does not peter out prematurely.
