Milwaukee Bucks Confirm Acquisition of Talented Emerging Australian Player

The Milwaukee Bucks didn’t execute any game-changing maneuvers before the NBA trade deadline, though they did make a notable mid-season acquisition with Patrick Beverley. However, their activity doesn’t end there.

The Bucks have continued their roster adjustments by signing Australian prospect Jaylin Galloway. The 21-year-old forward has officially joined the team on a two-way contract, as announced by the Bucks on social media. Under this agreement, Galloway is expected to spend most of his playing time with the team’s NBA G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, while also serving as a reserve option for the Bucks.

Galloway gained recognition in Australian professional basketball while playing for the Sydney Kings in the National Basketball League. He emerged as one of the finalists for the NBL Most Improved Player Award in the previous season, doubling his scoring average from the year before. Across 23 games in the recent season, Galloway posted solid averages of 10.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, as detailed in an official press release on NBA.com.
