Despite encountering injury setbacks this season, Tierney has made 16 appearances for Real Sociedad, contributing to six clean sheets. According to sources from TEAMtalk, Sociedad is highly satisfied with Tierney’s contributions and is eager to secure his loan services for the next season. However, Arsenal intends to put Tierney on the transfer market, attracting interest from Aston Villa, European clubs, and his former team Celtic.

Although Tierney possesses considerable talent, injuries have impeded his progress in recent years. Nonetheless, TEAMtalk has learned that several top clubs are poised to submit offers for him in the coming months. Aston Villa, alongside various Italian clubs and Celtic, are closely monitoring Tierney’s situation.

Tierney remains under contract with Arsenal until 2026, and the club is reportedly seeking offers around €30 million (approximately £25.6 million) this summer, aiming to recoup their initial £25 million investment made when they signed him from Celtic in 2019. Despite being a pivotal player for Arsenal at times, Tierney faces competition from Oleksandr Zinchenko, preferred by Arteta, and impending competition from Jurrien Timber and Jakub Kiwior in the left-back position.

It remains to be seen whether any of Tierney’s suitors are willing to meet Arsenal’s valuation in the upcoming transfer window. Aston Villa, in particular, has been actively seeking a new left-back and has Tierney among their potential targets. Celtic, on the other hand, has a longstanding interest in reacquiring Tierney, given his popularity among the club’s supporters.
