KJ Martin’s availability for the 76ers vs. Nets game has been reduced.

On Tuesday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will conclude their brief two-game road trip with a matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, who proved formidable opponents in their previous encounter. The Nets’ game follows just two days after the Sixers’ victory over the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center.

In the game against the Mavericks, Tyrese Maxey showcased his talent by scoring 24 points, while Tobias Harris emerged as a dominant force for the Sixers, tallying 28 points on an impressive 57 percent shooting. This performance secured a four-point victory for Philadelphia over Dallas.

Additionally, Kelly Oubre Jr. made a significant contribution off the bench with 21 points, indicating that the team can adapt well to changes in rotation, as implemented by coach Nick Nurse.

However, KJ Martin had a limited role in Sunday’s game, playing only four minutes and failing to score, registering just one steal. This reduced involvement was expected as Martin had been listed on the injury report prior to the game due to a right knee impingement, a recurring issue for him.

This knee problem had sidelined Martin for a few games earlier in the month and has now rendered him questionable for the upcoming game against the Nets.

If Martin is unable to play, he will join several other players on the Sixers’ bench, including De’Anthony Melton, Robert Covington, Tyrese Maxey, and Joel Embiid, while Cameron Payne’s availability remains uncertain.

The Sixers aim to assert their dominance in the season series against the Nets after suffering a 15-point loss in their previous meeting. The game between Philadelphia and Brooklyn is scheduled for Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. EST.
