A former NBA All-Star expresses enthusiasm about the prospect of DeMar DeRozan joining the Miami Heat, stating, “He would be exceptional with Miami.”
While DeMar DeRozan has found personal success with the Chicago Bulls, his tenure with the team hasn’t yielded significant team achievements, prompting speculation about his potential fit with a more competitive squad.
Looking ahead, DeRozan might explore opportunities with other teams, and according to former NBA All-Star Jeff Teague, the idea of the 34-year-old joining the Miami Heat is highly appealing.
“Teaming up with Miami would be fantastic for him,” Teague remarked.
When asked about how DeRozan would mesh with the Miami Heat roster, particularly alongside guard Tyler Herro, Teague remained confident in the fit.
“One thing about Jimmy [Butler] — he knows how to elevate everyone’s game, and he doesn’t mind taking a supporting role,” Teague explained. “When he needs to step up, he can, and DeMar is similar. During our time in San Antonio, he often took on a playmaking role. Tyler Herro would thrive in that environment.”
