Boston’s Jayson Tatum experienced deep disappointment following difficulties in the Celtics’ defeat against Denver.
The euphoria of dominating the Golden State Warriors last week quickly dissipated for star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, as Boston suffered a narrow road loss to the reigning champion Denver Nuggets for the second time this season on Thursday night.
In fact, it appeared to have led to a sense of overconfidence on the part of the Celtics, who seemed unfocused and ill-prepared for a team as formidable as the Nuggets. Tatum’s postgame comments to the media revealed his evident disappointment with himself and how the game unfolded for the Celtics.
Following the conclusion of the game, senior NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith and the rest of ESPN’s “First Take” panel discussed Tatum’s reaction to the defeat.
