What is the reason for the absence of Warriors’ Steph Curry and Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama in tonight’s game on March 11th?

The Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs are gearing up for their second encounter within days, but once again, both teams will be deprived of their key players.

An absence of star power will characterize the game, initially anticipated as a clash between two prominent figures in the league. One, nearing the later stages of his career, was set to face off against the emerging star, touted as the future face of the NBA. However, both Stephen Curry and Victor Wemabanyama will be sidelined for tonight’s rematch following the Spurs’ victory over the Warriors on Saturday.

Curry and Wemabanyama were absent during Saturday’s game, and they will continue to be absent tonight due to ankle injuries. Curry sustained his injury during the Warriors’ game against the Bulls on Thursday, while Wemabanyama suffered an ankle twist early in the Spurs’ defeat to Houston on Tuesday. Although Wemabanyama managed to finish the game against the Rockets, he was sidelined for San Antonio’s subsequent match against the Kings and remained unavailable for the Warriors clash on Saturday.
