2024 NRL Signings Update: Izack signs fresh three-year contract.
Two-time championship-winning Panther, Izack Tago, has committed to a fresh three-year contract, ensuring his presence at Penrith until the culmination of the 2028 season. This announcement arrives just ahead of his milestone 50th NRL appearance against the Eels at BlueBet Stadium on Friday. Since his debut in 2021, the 21-year-old has amassed 24 tries in 49 matches, securing two NRL premierships and featuring in three Test matches for Samoa.
Expressing his delight, Tago stated, “I’m extremely happy to re-sign with the club. Even though I was already signed here for a couple of years, it’s great to lock in my future at my home club for another few years.” He highlighted the special bond within the Panthers team, predominantly composed of juniors, and expressed excitement about extending his stay.
In other NRL news, Bulldogs forward Max King has extended his tenure with the club until the conclusion of the 2027 season. This announcement coincides with the signings of former Rabbitoh and Rooster Daniel Suluka-Fifita, 24, on a two-year deal, and former Kiwi international Zane Tetevano, 33, who joins after stints with Leeds in the Super League and the Panthers in 2020.
Furthermore, Storm’s Sua Fa’alogo has penned a new five-year deal, anchoring him in Melbourne as the fullback for the foreseeable future.
