In a recent development on Tuesday, it was announced that the Bears would be acquiring free agent safety Jonathan Owens, who previously played for divisional rival Green Bay Packers. This news was first disclosed by his agent, Sunny Shah, to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, as reported by Bleacher Report.
Notably, Owens is the spouse of renowned Team USA gymnast and Olympic Gold Medalist Simone Biles, who expressed her enthusiasm for his decision via her social media account on X.
“CHICAGO HERE HE COMES,” Biles shared.
