Jey Uso extends a challenge to Jimmy Uso for WWE WrestleMania 40, potentially setting the stage for a showdown between the Usos at the event.
During a segment on Monday’s WWE Raw, Jey proposed a brother-versus-brother match at WrestleMania 40, challenging Jimmy to accept and vowing to defeat him. This potential showdown between the Usos adds an intriguing layer to the event.
The announcement comes a year after The Usos headlined the first night of WrestleMania 39 as a tag team, defending their Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles against Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn at the 2023 event.
Following WrestleMania 39, both Usos parted ways with The Bloodline faction. However, Jimmy ultimately betrayed his brother, aligning himself once again with Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa in The Bloodline. Jimmy’s actions led to significant repercussions, including interfering in Jey’s match against Reigns at SummerSlam in 2023, costing him the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Additionally, Jimmy’s interference caused Jey to lose the Intercontinental Championship in a match against Gunther on Raw last month.
The WrestleMania 40 card is gradually taking shape, with the addition of a six-pack ladder match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles announced during Monday’s Raw.
The current WrestleMania 40 lineup includes:
