Philadelphia Eagles are set to ink a one-year deal with Devin White, the ex-linebacker of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as reported by CBS Sports.

According to CBS Sports, the Philadelphia Eagles have secured former Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Devin White on a one-year contract. NFL Network has reported that the deal is valued at $7.5 million. This acquisition addresses a significant gap in the Eagles’ defensive lineup.

White, aged 26, brings his talents to Philadelphia after an impressive season with the Buccaneers, where he amassed 83 tackles, nine quarterback hits, and five tackles for loss in 14 games. Additionally, he showcased his versatility with six pass deflections and two interceptions.

Having clinched the Super Bowl title with the Buccaneers in the 2021 season, White earned Second Team All-Pro honors in 2020 and was selected for the Pro Bowl in the 2021 season, highlighting his prowess in the league.

The Eagles encountered White and the Buccaneers twice last season, notably in the playoff loss during the wild card round of the NFL playoffs. In their Week 3 clash, a 25-11 victory for Philadelphia, White made his presence felt with seven tackles, one pass deflection, and one interception.
