There are rumors suggesting that ex-Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup may be eyeing a move to Carolina.

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup is reportedly exploring potential landing spots, with rumors suggesting that the Carolina Panthers may be his next destination. According to a recent report, the Panthers are expected to host Gallup for a visit next week, aiming to bolster their roster with much-needed talent at the wide receiver position.

The Panthers, who are in the process of assembling a competitive squad, view Gallup as a valuable addition to their lineup. With second-year quarterback Bryce Young eager to have Gallup as a potential target, securing the deal could significantly enhance the team’s offensive capabilities.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport shared the news on X, formerly known as Twitter, announcing the Panthers’ interest in Gallup.

“Gearing up to enhance their offensive arsenal, the Panthers are set to bring in former Cowboys WR Michael Gallup for a visit next week,” Rapoport revealed.

Gallup boasts an impressive track record during his tenure with the Cowboys, having played in 86 games over six seasons, amassing 266 receptions, 3,744 yards, and 21 touchdowns. His standout performance occurred in 2019, where he tallied 66 receptions, 1,107 yards, and six receiving touchdowns. Despite facing challenges, such as injuries limiting his playing time in certain seasons, Gallup remains an attractive prospect for teams seeking offensive firepower.

With Gallup considering a fresh start after several productive seasons with the Cowboys, his potential move to the Panthers presents an intriguing opportunity. The Panthers, in dire need of playmakers to bolster their offense, are eager to see how Gallup’s skill set can contribute to their team dynamic, particularly in stretching the field and creating scoring opportunities.
