DECLAN DEVINE: HAPPY WITH HIS “POSITIVE START,” GLENTORAN’S NEW INTERIM MANAGER
In his first game in charge, Glentoran interim manager Declan Devine was pleased with the team’s performance as they defeated Dungannon Swifts 3-0.
Following Warren Feeney’s departure on Friday, Devine, the former manager of Derry City and the Bohemians, was named to the position until the end of the season.
“Thank goodness, the players showed off their talent before the game,” the coach said.
“There were many excellent performances, and this is a great beginning.”
After Bohemians’ sluggish start to the League of Ireland season, Devine left the team last Sunday.
Devine is “a vastly experienced coach and manager,” according to a Glentoran statement.
