Suns and 76ers Announce Injury Update

Embiid is taking part in non-contact parts of practice, Sixers coach Nick Nurse informed reporters over the weekend, although the defending MVP’s exact return date is still unknown.

Embiid, Jones, Melton, Smith, Covington, and Embiid were the other Sixers who did not play in Philadelphia’s 98-91 victory over the Miami Heat on Sunday, including Harris.

The Sixers had a 38-30 record going into Tuesday night’s NBA schedule, and they were holding onto the No. 6 spot.
