Cardiff City news tonight includes the admission of a midfield player and the entry of another team in the race for a star.

According to Derby County manager Paul Warne, it is unlikely that Ebou Adams would sign a long-term contract with the Rams this summer.

Under Erol Bulut, Adams was marginalized at Cardiff and was later loaned to the League One team, where he quickly won over the fans.

With one more year remaining on his contract with the Bluebirds, Adams will return to Cardiff this summer, when Bulut and the team will decide how much Adams will be involved going ahead. But it does not look like Warne is going to go back to Pride Park.

“He is been great, and I believe the world of Ebou,” he stated in the first place. He is a player for Cardiff, yet this seems like the response of a football manager, which is not like me.

“They graciously loaned him to us, and just because he was not in their plans during this time does not imply he will not be during the next.

You could make the case that he still has maybe seven or, dare I say it, ten games left to attempt to win us around. Although he has the chance to attempt and win something here, he is essentially a Cardiff player. It is most likely not as likely as it seems.”
