NRL Casualty Ward: Three injuries for the Sharks; Tino’s season is finished
The news that captain Tino Fa’asuamaleaui will miss the entirety of 2024 due to an ACL tear has struck a terrible blow to the Titans.
After the Queensland lock had scans, the club announced the news on Sunday afternoon. The lock sustained the injury midway through the second half of his team’s Round 3 loss to the Bulldogs.
Fa’asuamaleaui is scheduled to meet with medical staff to discuss his rehabilitation strategy after missing the rest of the season.
The setback occurs after the team was given some encouraging news earlier in the day on Saturday, when fullback Jayden Campbell made his way back from an injury during the Queensland Cup.
